What types of sessions are considered creative portrait sessions?

Pretty much anything that falls outside the Children/Families or Weddings/Engagements category! People who commonly book creative portrait sessions include fashion models who are building portfolios, people who need professional photos of themselves for their brand, and even people who simply want to feel more confident in their own skin. If you have a specific location idea or concept/aesthetic you'd like to capture, I am 100% here for it. Your session will be a custom experience that centers around your goals and desires.

Do you shoot boudoir? Could a boudoir session be considered a creative portrait session?

Yes, and absolutely. In my eyes, there's plenty of room for creativity in boudoir/nude photography (think fine art portraiture), and it is my goal to make your boudoir session unique. Please fill out my contact form below for more detailed pricing information on boudoir sessions.

What about senior portraits?

Yep - senior portraits (whether for high school or college seniors) fall under the category of creative portrait sessions! I believe seniors deserve much more than the traditional, "boring" school photo. I approach senior sessions in a similar way to fashion sessions - you'll get to choose a location that suits your style, change your outfit, and even request hair and makeup services. We'll shoot a combination of formal poses and fun candids, so that you end up with plenty of authentic images that capture YOU as an individual. (And don't worry about feeling awkward or nervous in front of the camera - I'll hype you up the entire time, and you're more than welcome to bring friends and family along too!)
